For the needs of our Hard Rock Cafe Podgorica brand, we are looking for a new team member for the following job position in Podgorica:
PREP COOK
JOB DUTIES OF AN EMPLOYEE:
- Keeping track of the amount of food in the kitchen and ordering missing items;
- Properly labeling, dating, covering and refrigerating prepped items for the line;
- Providing support to the head chef in the processing of ingredients for preparation;
- Providing support in serving the prepared meal;
- Providing support to the head chef in keeping track of kitchen tools and utensils as well as working surfaces in the kitchen-hygiene;
- Washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen, helping to prepare vegetables, fruits and other food for the kitchen;
- Stocking products;
- Recycling products;
- Properly reading items printed on order tickets or automated Kitchen Display System;
- Communicating professionally with co-workers and Front-of-the-House staff;
- Acting as a liaison between the Heart-of-the-House and Front-of-the-House staff;
- Practicing all general safety & sanitation standards;
- Recycling products, where possible.
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment;
- Performing duties which require bending & reaching;
- Standing or moving for long hours;
- Maintaining a well-groomed appearance;
- Following all uniform guidelines;
- Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere;
- Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency;
- Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers .
