“MONTENEGRO TOURIST SERVICE DMC” agency have been operating for more than 15 years in the following countries: Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Albania, Macedonia, as well as in Hungary, Austria and Italy. We are engaged in group and individual travel, focusing on quality service through our infrastructure and network in these countries. We do customized programs for FIT travelers, MICE programs, business trips, luxury trips and transfers, as well as special programs and events up to our client requests.

Our clients are large groups of tourists from various world markets, and we provide them with all the services that a modern guest of the 21st century can have.

Due to expansion on new markets, we are establishing on a Serbian market and looking for a position-AGENCY DIRECTOR

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Analyzing, planning and organizing strategy from the scope of work according with goals and tasks for specific market request;
  • Proposing innovative offers following tourism trends and market requirements;
  • Communicating and visiting partners and negotiating cooperation through B2B platform, pricing policies and other condition necessary;
  • Strategic planning of accommodation, excursions, tours and similar offers in Serbia and the Region, tailored for the specific markets;
  • Responsible for all legal documentation regarding partners licenses and other permits prescribed by law;
  • Responsible for the timely, legal and proper execution of business in the branch office;
  • Analyze, plan and organize work tasks according to priorities, based on the analysis of information and monthly and yearly plan;
  • Exchanging information with head office regarding inquiries (new, ongoing and completed) from various information channels;
  • Compilation of statistical reports in accordance with needs (traffic, structure of guests, length of stay);
  • Creating and maintaining a database in the field of his work;
  • Designing and making packages of tours, excursions and trips depending on the length of the visit to the location and the client’s preferences;
  • Calculating and determining the cost of tourist arrangements;
  • Prepares annual budget for Agency operation;
  • Monitors, controls, approves and records the spending of Agency funds;
  • Prepares monthly and annual report on financial status and operation of Agency;
  • Controls the accounts of all Sectors;
  • Financially indebts and discharges employees during the realization of work, as well as when going on business trips;
  • Controls the data in the table of expenses, debts and revenues for the business;
  • Monitors the implementation of activities foreseen in the annual and monthly plans of all sectors;
  • Keeps records of employees’ promptness regarding the delivery of daily work reports;
  • Controls the daily reports on the work of employees;
  • Holds meetings with Sector Directors, partners and other stakeholders relevant for the operation of the Agency;
  • Participates in the work of the collegium;
  • Together with the HR sector, participates in communication with employees in order to overcome work problems;
  • Controls, amends and amends the Book of Procedures and the Rulebook on the internal organization and systematization of workplaces;
  • Checks and approves the salary calculation;
  • Monitors and approves the performance of all types of work in the work premises;
  • Ensures the cooperation of the office with head office;
  • Signs and issues orders (travel, work, etc.) for the implementation of work;
  • Reporting to superiors about his daily work;
  • Working permanently on his professional development;
  • Working in line with the MTS code of ethics, work standards, the law and other regulations required by the job position;
  • Designing and making packages of tours, excursions and trips depending on the length of the visit to the location and the client’s preferences;
  • Calculating and determining the cost of tourist arrangements;
  • Comparing prices with similar offers on the market.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Work experience in the same or similar job in tourism for a minimum of 2 years (specifically INCOMING / DMC company);
  • University degree in relevant field preferebly in Economics, Business Administration, Tourism etc.;
  • Fluent knowledge of chinese and english language (native speaker or study on chinese language);
  • Good knowledge of accommodation, excursions, tours and similar offers in the Region and markets of interest (e.g. chinese, middle east, Russian etc.);
  • Strong logical skills in line of work with the ability to successfully connects products, services and network;
  • Diplomacy, tact and innovative approach;
  • Excellent organizational, communicational and sales skills required;
  • Strong interpersonal skills such as responsibility, systematic way of doing business, analytical skills and proven leadership skills;
  • Fluent knowledge of english and another foreign language (advantage) – at least level B2;
  • Ability to work under positive pressure and the rules of the profession;
