Day 1: (Arrival)
Arrival at Tivat International Airport at 16:30. Meet & Greet and transfer to Budva. 1hour panormacic-walking tour in Budva, in order to familiarize the town. Check in in Budva (Slovenska Plaza Hotel 4* or Aleksandar Hotel 4* or Similar 4*). Free time and overnight.
Day 2: (Sea Coast Tour: Kotor, St Stephan, Bar and Ulcinj)
Breakfast at hotel and then pick up for Full day tour with English speaking driver.
Our first stop will be in Kotor, one of the most beautiful cities in Montenegro, and we will have city tour for 1 hour : Kotor is a dramatic town where the present lives in the maze of medieval churches, cathedrals, Venetian palaces and pillars. Kotor is made up of contrasts – the old squares with modern cafes, the sounds of serenade and live music, the echo of the footsteps down the narrow cobblestone alleys and the lazy purr of cats lying under the balconies with wrought iron railings, decorated with petunias. Site is under UNESCO protection.
Then we will make photo stop above Sveti Stefan Island : It’s a luxurious resort for elite tourists and those who crave glamour. At the end of the 1940s, it was turned into a tourist facility and that marked the beginning of the new history of Sveti Stefan.
A third stop will be in Stari Bar and and will visit first the Old Olive Tree : 2000 years old olive tree – the oldest olive tree in Europe. Bar : is a town in the southern Adriatic and the gateway of Montenegro to the sea, with a port built in 1906. Located below two mountains, Rumija and Sutorman and on the shores that are splashed by the waters of the Adriatic Sea and Skadar Lake, the town of Bar will enchant you with its rich history dating back to antiquity.
After Bar we will head to the last stop to the City of Ulcinj and we will have guided walking tour in the old town : Ulcinj is a special small town situated on the very south of Montenegrin coast. It used to be a place ruled by pirates and within its walls, according to legend, the famous Spanish writer Cervantes was enslaved. Today, Ulcinj’s Old Town and the cyclopean walls that surround it, testify to the various cultures and influences that have mingled throughout history.
Drop off at hotel in the evening and time to rest.
Day 3: (Free Day)
Breakfast at Hotel. Free time for enjoying on the beautiful beaches of Budva, shopping or some other entertainment activities.
Day 4: (North of the Montenegro tour & Monastery Moraca, Black lake, Zabljak and Djurdjevica Tara bridge)
Breakfast in hotel then we will start our tour and we will ride through amazing Moraca Canyon (with photo stop) and we will visit first the Moraca Monastery : It was built in the 13th century and this masterpiece of Romanesque architecture in the Balkans has been destroyed and restored several times, but it has preserved its beauty to this day! Additionally, the nature that surrounds the monastery is something special.
We continue our tour to Djurdjevica Tara bridge – above canyon of river Tara – the deepest canyon in Europe (2nd deepest in the world, after Grand Colorado in USA).
Free time for photos, and possibility for 1 KM zip line activity (optional).
Transfer to Zabljak town and you will have free time for lunch there.
Then we will head to National park Durmitor and amazing Black Lake : The impressively rugged and dramatic Durmitor Mountain is the pride of Montenegro. You cannot help being astonished by its raw natural beauty, carved out by glaciers and underground streams.
Walking tour around the lake. Transfer back to sea coast in the evening. Overnight
Day 5 : (Free Day)
Breakfast at hotel. Free Day to enjoy the beaches and rest. Shopping or other
activities.
Day 6 : (Boka Bay speedboat Tour/ Sightseeing )
Breakfast at hotel and then transfer to Kotor. Start of the ride in direction of Perast with amazing view at Kotor fortress that goes all the way to the mountains. You will enjoy breathtaking sceneries while passing by stone houses, villas and churches. Prepare to see the Bay from the most beautiful angle. You will see it from the eyes of sailors and fishermen who inhabited this in medieval times.
After the sightseeing through the beautiful Kotor side of the Bay we will arrive in Perast, one of the best preserved and most beautiful baroque settlements in the region. We will make 20 minutes break and your guide will take you through this fairytale town. We will than once again enter a boat, but this time just for a few minutes, passing by St Georges Island, we will visit Our Lady of the Rocks, a man- made artificial island created by the bulwark of rocks and by sinking old and seized ships loaded with rocks. You will hear one of the most beautiful stories that the Mediterranean carries with itself.
We will pass along the other part of the bay where in the distance we will see the city of Tivat and its Porto Montenegro yachting marine and Herceg Novi with its surroundings. We will pass by abounded submarine tunnel and the small island Mamula with an old Austrian – Hungarian fort, which was transformed into a prison during WWII. Before we head back, there is one more attraction on the tour, the breathtaking Blue Cave in which cool blue water you can even swim. Also, you will be able to take a swim at one of the most beautiful beaches in Montenegro – Zanjice beach.
We finsih our journey back to port of Kotor and then transfer back to hotel in Budva.
Day 7 : (Free Day)
Breakfast at hotel. Free Day to enjoy the beaches and rest. Shopping or other activities.
Day 8 : (Departure Day)
Breakfast at hotel. Free Time then transfer to Tivat airport in afternoon to catch the flight at 17:40. End of Program.
